When we as followers of Christ evangelize, we must come to understand that we cannot force the conversation with our religion, but rather, we must start a relationship.
We must remember that we cannot rush the mind of the unbeliever, but speak to them with patience. Don’t be discouraged if the person you are speaking too about Jesus is not quick to respond or be open about their faith. Instead we must act upon what the word of God tells us. “Be quick to listen, and slow to speak.” Be patient with those around you, and most importantly, be patient with yourself. You may not be given the response you are looking for, but be confident in knowing that your conversation has opened the door for God to water the seeds you have just planted.

Our job is NOT to save people, but to usher them towards the one who saves.
